How do I find my Call Sign now that I have passed my exam?
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) issues callsigns.
The Volunteer Examiner Coordinator used (such as ARRL or W5YI) is sent the testing material and then forwards to the FCC for issuance of callsigns.
The FCC Universal Licensing System (ULS) is the main source for confirming your license. You may search here: FCC ULS
Below are some basic search suggestions:
- Click on “Advanced License Search”
- Scroll down to the “Licensee” section and enter your Last Name Only and pick the State and Zip Code that you live in/entered on the Form 605 when testing
- Scroll down to “Customize Your Results” and change the “Results Display” from “10” to “100” and click on “SEARCH”
